💃 8th Grade Farewell Dance--The theme is "A Night in Hollywood".. Students are welcome to dress however they are comfortable. We will have students dressed from casual to semi-formal. There is no judgement on how your dress. We just want to celebrate our 8th graders as they close their Middle School chapter and move on to High School

Fourth graders attended a field trip focused on career exploration today at the fairgrounds. They rotated through a variety of engaging stations that brought the careers they’ve been studying to life. 🚔👩🏻💻🚑🛠️
Ms. Mayer and Mrs. Long’s Second grade classes had a wonderful time planting flowers at Dr. Thompson’s today! A big thank you to Dr. Thompson and the amazing staff for welcoming us and for generously supporting our school by purchasing flowers from our fundraiser. Our students have been learning all about spring, planting, teamwork, and the importance of community. It was the perfect way to bring those lessons to life! 🌸🌻🌷

Mrs. Hoeffel's marine biology class explored the wonders of the sea and discovered new things at the aquarium and Cincinnati Museum on their marine biology field trip! 🌊🦀
The Preble Shawnee kindergartners visited the Preble County Historical Society and Nature Reserve on May 8th. Students were able to visit different stations relating to conservation. It was a wonderful day of learning and adventure! 🌿🌻
Students at PSE participated in an exciting Career Day today, exploring a wide range of career paths and learning from professionals across various industries in our community. They were inspired to dream big about their futures.🌟

The Preble Shawnee Local School District’s Board of Education is holding a Special Board of Education Meeting on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 to conduct any and all business necessary at that time. The meeting will take place at 5495 Somers Gratis Road, Camden, Ohio 45311, in the library. It is open to the public and starts at 5:00 PM.
An update from the Football Program from the North vs South Allstar Game!
🔴⚫We are always proud when we have successful graduates giving back to their alma mater. Garrett Campbell helped the percussion section in band class today and inspired the next generation of PS band.
During his freshman year at OSU , Garrett performed in the collegiate winds group and percussion group. During the spring semester, he moved up to Symphonic band. He also participated in athletic bands in both the fall and spring semesters, getting to perform at Men's and Women's Hockey games, volleyball, soccer, women's basketball, the Columbus Blue Jackets game, and the Spring football game. He looks forward to trying out for the marching band this fall.

Due to tomorrow’s forecast of cold and rainy weather, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Color Run again. The event is now rescheduled for Saturday, May 10th, when the weather is expected to be warmer and sunny. Please see flyer for more information.
