Each of our board members has a personal connection to Preble Shawnee, having children who currently attend or have attended our schools. They truly understand the importance of a strong education—not just as leaders, but as parents and community members who care deeply about the future of our students.
Our board members dedicate countless hours to thoughtful discussion, careful decision-making, and service that always places the best interests of the district first. They approach their roles with integrity, courtesy, and respect, treating staff, students, families, and community members with kindness and professionalism.
We are incredibly fortunate to be guided by such committed and compassionate individuals:
Julie Singleton, Board President
Jeff Wood, Board Vice President
Lisa Tuttle-Huff, Board Member
Karla Lynch, Board Member
Darrick Murphy, Board Member
The staff, students, and entire Preble Shawnee community are extremely lucky to have this group serving on the Board of Education. Thank you for your leadership, your time, and your continued dedication to educational excellence.

🎄✨ Christmas Dress-Up Days Start Monday, December 8 at PSE! ✨🎄
It’s time to jingle all the way into the holiday season! Beginning Monday, December 8, PSE will be celebrating Christmas Dress-Up Days . A fun-filled way to show off your Christmas spirit. 🎅❄️
We can’t wait to see the halls bursting with Christmas joy!🎉🎄

Our preschoolers had an amazing time stepping back into the 1950s to celebrate the 50th day of school! Students from both classes joined together for a fun Sock Hop, complete with classic music, dancing, and even root beer floats.
They also learned a little about what life was like in the 50s and enjoyed listening to songs on a jukebox. It was a joyful day filled with laughter, learning, and wonderful memories for our youngest learners!
Here’s to 50 days of growth, fun, and friendship! ❤️🖤
