Preble Shawnee is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Brown as the district’s new Athletic Director, beginning August 1st.
Jessica attended Marietta College, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. She continued her education at University of Ohio and University of Cincinnati achieving her Master’s Degree in Sports Administration, underscoring a strong commitment to both athletic leadership and student development.
Jessica brings a strong foundation in sports leadership through a variety of hands-on roles in collegiate and youth athletics. She has served as a Graduate Assistant for Club Sports at the University of Cincinnati, supporting financial oversight, policy compliance, and officer training for more than 40 student-led teams. Jessica has also gained valuable experience through event and facility management job shadows at major collegiate events, including the Myrtle Beach Bowl, University of Michigan, and University of Pittsburgh, where she assisted with game-day operations, hospitality events, and social media content creation. Additionally, she coached 12U fastpitch softball with Four One Sports, mentoring young athletes and leading in-game strategy and development.
Jessica brings a passion for building programs that emphasize teamwork, integrity, and academic balance. As Athletic Director, she will oversee all district athletic programs, support student-athletes and coaches, and help foster a positive sports culture across all schools.

Today’s Field Day brought tons of fun to PSE students with inflatables, relay races, and nonstop excitement!








Fourth grade students wrapped up their career exploration unit by creating a diorama representing their chosen career. Today, they proudly displayed their projects for parents and classmates. Six outstanding entries were selected to be showcased at the fair this year. 🌟


Congratulations to Carson Hollon for receiving the Beau Singleton Memorial and the Preble Shawnee Athletic Boosters scholarship totaling $1500. Also congratulations to Taylan Horrigan for the Sinclair Tech Prep Scholarship totaling $3000. Both names missed. Congrats to both.

Fourth graders attended a field trip focused on career exploration today at the fairgrounds. They rotated through a variety of engaging stations that brought the careers they’ve been studying to life. 🚔👩🏻💻🚑🛠️











Ms. Mayer and Mrs. Long’s Second grade classes had a wonderful time planting flowers at Dr. Thompson’s today! A big thank you to Dr. Thompson and the amazing staff for welcoming us and for generously supporting our school by purchasing flowers from our fundraiser. Our students have been learning all about spring, planting, teamwork, and the importance of community. It was the perfect way to bring those lessons to life! 🌸🌻🌷
