Today, the students at Preble Shawnee Elementary participated in their Read at Home (RAH) Assembly. Both students and staff are thrilled to launch this program, recognizing the vital role reading plays in shaping a successful future. Proud to be an Arrow! ❤️🖤

It's Game Day in Arrow Country! 💥Link for tickets below💥 The Arrows host Marion Pleasant tonight in the 1st Round of the OHSAA Playoffs. Kickoff is at 7:00 with gates opening at 5:30. Tickets are available online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets. We are in Division V, Region 20. All Adult tickets will be $11 and Student tickets will be $5. No league, school or senior citizen passes will be accepted. Come out and be loud to support your Arrows!

Yesterday our preschool students got to end their Red Ribbon week by trick or treating through the elementary building and ELC. We had special visitors from the District office join in on the fun too. 🎃

Yesterday, the preschool classes had a visit from the local Fire Department to learn fire safety. 🚒

🍂🍁Yesterday, our 5th grade class went on a field trip to PNC Arts Annex. They learned about hoop dancing and Native American culture. They also wrote positive notes on Post Its and stuck them around the building!! Great job spreading positivity PS 5th grade!!👍😁

In Mrs. Hoeffel's Forensic Science class, students have been working through the steps of Crime Scene Investigations. Currently, they are practicing "Seeing the Scene" by photographing three mock crime scenes at different angles and distances to help paint a picture of what may have happened. Forensic photography is a crucial aspect of the justice system, helping provide prosecutors with additional evidence to present to the jury, bring justice to victims, or prove someone innocent.

The Black Walnut Festival Preble Shawnee Art Show is open for viewing today and tomorrow from 1:00-4:00 at the elementary school, showcasing exceptional artwork created by students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. We invite you to attend and appreciate the outstanding artistic talent.
