🍂🍁Yesterday, our 5th grade class went on a field trip to PNC Arts Annex. They learned about hoop dancing and Native American culture. They also wrote positive notes on Post Its and stuck them around the building!! Great job spreading positivity PS 5th grade!!👍😁
In Mrs. Hoeffel's Forensic Science class, students have been working through the steps of Crime Scene Investigations. Currently, they are practicing "Seeing the Scene" by photographing three mock crime scenes at different angles and distances to help paint a picture of what may have happened. Forensic photography is a crucial aspect of the justice system, helping provide prosecutors with additional evidence to present to the jury, bring justice to victims, or prove someone innocent.

Good afternoon. The MS/HS building is currently conducting a lockdown drill. This is only a drill. This drill is designed to help both students and staff practice the procedures for a lockdown.
The goal is to ensure that everyone is familiar with the protocols so we can respond effectively in the event of a real emergency.

Last week our Middle School participated in a house sorting ceremony. Our 5th graders are each officially members of their own house.🔴🔵⚫️🟢
A key element of the House System is the way that it increases students’ motivation to succeed in school by fostering a sense of belonging among all students and staff, and parents often report feeling more connected to the school community as well. To achieve this, each student will be a part of one of 4 houses and will have the opportunity to participate in house-specific events and activities throughout the year.
