The Preble Shawnee Local School District's Board of Education will hold the Regular Board of Education Meeting on August 12, 2025 at 6:00pm located in the Library at 5495 Somers Gratis Road, Camden, Ohio 45311. This meeting is open to the public.

While you're at the Preble County Fair, remember to take a look at the school exhibits.   On display is a variety of class projects and artwork from many of our students at 🔴Preble Shawnee⚫️.  Projects will be on display all week in the Preble County School Exhibit barn near the Toney building. Check out the amazing student projects! 🎨📚

Summer is in full swing and our Preble Shawnee students are making the most of it with exciting activities like an excellent Rating for our Wind Ensemble at Wilmington HS, camp counselors at the Conservation Day Camp, Wee Arrows Football Camp, PS Cheer getting ready to cheer on the Arrows, and PS FFA at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum!! Families looking for assistance to provide supplies for their student(s) are encouraged to sign up.
Your student(s) must be registered to attend Preble Shawnee to be eligible. Please complete registration by July 25.

Registered students will receive grade-specific school supplies, a backpack, and athletic shoes if needed. Shoe availability is limited and not guaranteed for everyone attending the Back-to-School Fair.

Preble Shawnee is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Brown as the district’s new Athletic Director, beginning August 1st. Jessica attended Marietta College, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. She continued her education at University of Ohio and University of Cincinnati achieving her Master’s Degree in Sports Administration, underscoring a strong commitment to both athletic leadership and student development. Jessica brings a strong foundation in sports leadership through a variety of hands-on roles in collegiate and youth athletics. She has served as a Graduate Assistant for Club Sports at the University of Cincinnati, supporting financial oversight, policy compliance, and officer training for more than 40 student-led teams. Jessica has also gained valuable experience through event and facility management job shadows at major collegiate events, including the Myrtle Beach Bowl, University of Michigan, and University of Pittsburgh, where she assisted with game-day operations, hospitality events, and social media content creation. Additionally, she coached 12U fastpitch softball with Four One Sports, mentoring young athletes and leading in-game strategy and development. Jessica brings a passion for building programs that emphasize teamwork, integrity, and academic balance. As Athletic Director, she will oversee all district athletic programs, support student-athletes and coaches, and help foster a positive sports culture across all schools. Today Preble Shawnee Teachers and Administration attended professional development on school safety, behavioral threat assessment, and the disrupting pathways to violence. The program was provided by The Pohl Group - School Safety Partners.
