Greenhand and Chapter Ceremony visit along with State Officer visit

On November, 9, 2017 42 of our first year members received their Greenhand FFA Degree and 14 of our second year members received their Chapter FFA Degree. State FFA President, Ryan Matthews, gave an inspiring speech that challenged members to set goals and strive towards obtaining them. Jared Dunn, a Greenhand recipient, recited the FFA creed for all in attendance. A huge thank you to all of the recipients for their hard work, for the member’s families attending and to Ryan Matthews for the Chapter Visit! Congratulations to all!

Prior to the ceremony our members participated in workshops led by Ryan Matthews, who is currently serving as Ohio State FFA President. The students learned about time management, being “L.I.T.” (Leaders In Training) and how to become champions. Stay tuned for our Greenhand and Chapter Degree Ceremony tonight!
