On Friday, the Graduate Services rep will be in the first-floor hall collecting senior orders and deposits at 7:00 am. Order packets are available in Velma’s office for any senior that needs one or if you have any questions.
Student picture day is September 23rd in the auditorium beginning at 6:45am. This is for students grades 9-11 including those that attend CTC.
There is an NHS meeting for all NHS members tomorrow morning at 7:00 in the auditorium. Be sure to see Mrs. Stevenson if you are unable to attend.
Football Homecoming game is September 24TH and the Homecoming dance is September 25TH from 7:30-10:00 in the high school gym. Any guest that is planning to attend must have an approved guest form completed no later than September 21st Guest forms are available in the first-floor unit office. The Preble County Pork Festival Create-A-Pig Contest will be held on Saturday in the Bruner Arena at the Preble County Fair Grounds. Entries are to be taken to Bruner Arena on Friday, between 4:00 – 6:00. For more information or questions email Shelby Brown at [email protected].
Preble Shawnee Peewee Cheer is sponsoring a movie night in the park on Friday. The movie “Jungle Cruise” will begin at 8:00pm at the water works park in Camden. Admission is $2 per person or $1 plus a non-perishable food item. Pop corn and pop will be available for $1 each and Ron’s Pizza will be selling hot dogs and cheese burgers and the cheer squad will receive 20% of Ron’s Sales.
Congratulations to our cross-Country teams at the Brookville XC meet Saturday.
Girls varsity placed 10th out of 30 teams with several ladies hitting new personal bests for the season. Congratulations to Tara Halpin, Jaiden McIntosh, Valerie Whitson, Sallie White, Diana Rodriguez, Regina Rodriguez, Faith Jessie, and Paige House. Varsity Boys also hitting new personal bests. Congratulations Case Roell, Austin Tackett, Thomas Scheile – Case Roell taking a medal home. JH girls ran well with Zoey Clinger hitting a new personal best. JH boys placed 12th out of 33 teams. Trent Geise took home a medal.
