On November 26th we had members participate in the sub-district Parliamentary Procedure Contest. This contest is where you demonstrate how to properly run a meeting. There was an advanced team and a novice team. The Advanced team placed 3rd and the Novice team placed 4th. On November 15th we had four members compete in the District Food Science Contest. During this contest they individually identified aromas and industry lab equipment. They also answered food safety vs quality quality questions. As a team, they developed a new food product, product packaging and a nutrition label.
